2020 Bassmaster Classic Recap

The 2020 Bassmaster Classic, which was held on Lake Guntersville in Alabama, was won by Hank Cherry Jr. He caught a total of 65 pounds, 5 ounces of fish over the three-day tournament, which earned him a prize of $300,000. The tournament was held on March 6-8, 2020 and featured a field of more than 50 of the world’s top professional bass anglers. It was the 50th anniversary of the Bassmaster Classic and was the first time the tournament was held on Lake Guntersville. Hank Cherry Jr. was able to win by using a variety of techniques, including fishing with a vibrating jig and a swimbait, which allowed him to catch fish in a variety of conditions.
